Buick Regal Ignition Lock Problems

I serviced a '99 Buick Regal in Washington Georgia today. The ignition lock had a variety of problems, the worst being that it would not turn on with the key. In order to remove the lock for replacement it HAS to turn to the on position before it can be removed. The local mechanic was unable to proceed and called me in to solve the problem. I was able to get the lock to turn on, removed it and replaced it. Because it was the old style VATS lock, Before the card would start I had to use the template key provided with the new lock to creat a VATS chip key with the proper electrical value.

We specialize in car locks. If you are having an issue with yours, give us a call first for some expert advice. Most of the local mechanics use us to help solve automotive lock problems.
